A patented, sustainable product made from waste stream orange pulp, Citri-Fi provides a broad array of functionalities across many food application families, and offers functionalities not found in any other fiber product.
This versatile product can be used in many applications including: bakery, meats (injected & ground), sauces, dressings, dairy and beverages.
Different than other fibers, which are generally purified and primarily insoluble, Citri-Fi is NOT purified; but instead, is left holistic to include soluble and insoluble fiber, protein, sugar and fat. The fiber matrix is then expanded using a patented mechanical processing technology that helps open the fiber structure to create a porous fiber matrix with a high internal surface area.
Citri-Fi is available in 100% citrus fiber, a co-processing of citrus fiber and guar gum and a co-processing of citrus fiber and xanthan gum. Each is available in three particle sizes, standard grind, fine grind and micro grind.
