Over 225 guests, including our customers, suppliers, business partners, and employees, braved the remnants of Hurricane Irma to attend our open house event on September 14, 2017. During their guided 45 minute facility tours, guests were able to experience the “Skidmore Difference” with visits to our repackaging facility, newly expanded warehouse, and each of our functional departments; while meeting various Skidmore representatives along the way.
“We are honored that so many took time from their schedules to celebrate this significant occasion with us. We enjoyed sharing the impressive results of this long-awaited project. Over the past couple of years, our repackaging operation, warehouse, and office space have all been expanded, with the office area actually doubling in square footage,” Skidmore President, Jim McCarthy explained. “In addition to the structural growth of our Cincinnati facility, we’ve also recently launched our new ERP system, updated elements of our brand identity, and will have added several new staff positions by year’s end. All of these efforts will help us continue to provide the exceptional service Skidmore customers have grown to trust. We now have the infrastructure in place to meet the market challenges and expectations of both our suppliers and customers for many years to come.”
