August, 2018 – Dupont Nutrition & Health Introduces Guardian® TOCO 30P

Dupont Nutrition & Health recently introduced an easy-to-use powdered antioxidant for oxidation control and quality maintenance in foods during their shelf-life.  Guardian® TOCO 30P is an alternative to synthetic antioxidants, and is effective in a variety of applications, particularly low-moisture foods such as cereals, snack foods, baked and extruded foods, and protein meals.

August, 2018 – Ingredion Introduces Bestevia™ Reb M Stevia Leaf Sweetener

According to the Mintel 2016 Sugar and Sweeteners Report, 26% of millennials would pay more for a product sweetened with naturally sourced sugar substitutes.  To satisfy the demand for products made with naturally derived sweeteners, Ingredion has introduced their new BESTEVIA™ Reb M stevia leaf sweetener.

BESTEVIA™ Reb M stevia leaf sweetener is 200 to 300 times sweeter than sugar, with a much cleaner sensory profile than traditional stevia sweeteners.  It enables you to replace more sugar in your applications. In beverages, sugar can be cut by more than 70% without sacrificing taste.

BESTEVIA® Reb M stevia leaf sweetener is approved in the U.S. and Canada, and it will soon be available in other countries.

August, 2018 – Ohly Announces New Brand Name and Differentiated Product Names for Nutrient Products

Ohly recently announced the decision to launch their nutrient portfolio under the new and dedicated brand X-SEED®, with differentiated product names and documentation that is specific to fermentation.

The company cited their continued expansion in the fermentation industry, and their commitment to remain a reliable partner in the fermentation process as drivers in this decision.  Ohly provides nutrients for different applications from cultures to pharmaceuticals.
