Kent joined Skidmore Enterprises in 2020 as President of Essex Food Ingredients. Prior to joining Essex, he had long career in a variety of distribution roles including top leadership positions in supply chain, sales, operations, quality management and 10 years as President/CEO. Kent moved to President of Skidmore Sales in March 2022.
He is a passionate team builder and believes every associate plays a critical role to business success! Kent enjoys working with staff members to create improved systems and processes that drive employee engagement, satisfy customer requirements, and enhance company profitability.
Kent holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administrative Management from the University of Cincinnati.
He and his wife, Mary Beth have two grown sons and five grandchildren. Outside of work, Kent enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.
