Michael joined our team in June 2018. He is responsible for executing Safety and Food Safety programs for all Skidmore companies, including Essex Food Ingredients, Processor’s Choice and H&W Ingredients / Dayton Foods. He has experience in the food and beverage industry along with a background in microbiology.
Prior to Skidmore, Michael worked as an Analytical/Microbiological Specialist in the quality department at MillerCoors, and most recently held the role of Quality Assurance Manager for American Foods Group. He is passionate about providing high quality product to all customers and consumers and takes pride in doing so through food safety programs.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Denison University. He is SQF and HACCP certified.
When he’s not at work, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.
