Michael joined our team in June 2018. He’s responsible for executing Safety and Food Safety programs for all Skidmore companies, including Essex Food Ingredients and Processor’s Choice. He has over 5 years of experience in the food and beverage industries and has a background in microbiology.
Prior to Skidmore, Michael worked as an Analytical/Microbiological Specialist in the quality department at MillerCoors, and most recently held the role of Quality Assurance Manager for American Foods Group. He is passionate about providing high quality product to all customers and consumers and takes pride in doing so through food safety programs.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Denison University and he’s SQF and HACCP certified.
He enjoys playing guitar in his free time and spending time with family and friends.
