Customer Service Representative
Nate comes to us from a different sector of the food industry. He was in the produce industry for about 4 years before joining Skidmore in July 2021. He was in sales, building partner relationships with distributors to move specialty and commodity products in the area. In addition, they were selling to end users, such as restaurants and caterers.
His career of over 30 years has been in sales and retail management. Both of which encompasses customer service. Every company talks “customer service,” but Nate likes to take it one step further by adding “customer satisfaction.” Continuing to get repeat business from your customers is one of the satisfying aspects of the customer service group. Nate says “where you really shine is when there is a challenging issue and you are able to do everything in your power to make it right in the eyes of the customer. This aspect helps you earn the trust of your customers in building long term relationships.”
Nate is a proud member of Big Blue Nation and a University of Kentucky graduate in Business Administration / Marketing and Business Education. “Go Blue or go home!”
Outside of work, he enjoys being active outdoors: trying to improve his golf game, fishing to catch the “Big One”, hiking, biking, gardening, home DIY projects and relaxing by the pool.
